Does anyone have any experience with writing their own application to work with the Allworx?

I use cordless plantronics headsets, and they work fine except they don't beep when a call comes in. This is a problem for my users that walk around the building alot. Does anyone know of a cordless headset that rings in the ear?

I am not able to connect Call Assistant from any remote networks. My phone and computer networks are separate. If I connect a PC to the pone network, I can get CA to connect.
