Current problems aside, VOIP.MS is one of the few providers that have a fix for this issue. Go to account settings and under the Advanced tab there is a setting for Max Expiry. You are currently allowed to upgrade to the highest supported system up to 8.2 without an Feature key. For the higher systems 7.7+ you have to download the update and load from your PC unless you have a valid Software Update key. Do not skip a major version. Some of these do a necessary firmware upd...
