Re: Transfer bluetooth call while away from desk
Nothing can be done to my knowledge yet for that, though I believe if you use Reach, you can switch between with that. In any case, if roaming is fairly important, then it may be best to have a cordless phone such as an RTX to use to roam. Then you can roam and transfer and park, etc. Alright, than...

Transfer bluetooth call while away from desk
Hey All: I can't be the first one with this question. Was wondering if there was a method where a live call on a bluetooth headset could be transferred or parked without the user returning to their deskphone. The scenario being our secretary with a bluetooth headset will answer a call away from her ...

Re: Migrating feature keys
Thanks, that's the direction I think I'm heading in as the old unit hadl licensing for software updates but no hardware warranty. Now I'm waiting on a quote from the reseller for a 536 while I have this 6x on loan.
Appreciate the response.

Migrating feature keys
So our 6X failed on a reboot the other day and we needed to replace it with another unit. Much to my surprise, restoring from officesafe does not restore feature Keys as those are tied to the MAC address of the old 6 x server. Now the reseller wants another thousand dollars for new keys that we've a...

Re: How to manage holiday greetings--Allworx 6X
I will take a stab at this. This is how my company does it: Under Schedules, there's a section to add holidays at the bottom of the page. We record a generic holiday greeting in slot 2, and set it up in the following way. Actually, here's a screen shot: allworx holiday.png Let me know if you have qu...

Re: Remote Generic SIP Devices
This was helpful actually! I just downloaded Linphone on Windows 10 through MS Store and was able to successfully configure it as a generic SIP device. Pretty cool. I don't have a mic handy so I'll have to test it out at later point.
Thanks for posting.
