Re: POE not working but computer connection is fine

A phone still branded as PAETEC is is at least 11 years old and could be 15 years old. Allworx was acquired by PAETEC in 2007 which was then acquired by Windstream in 2011. I also think simply failed hardware in this case. Get a new phone.

Re: 6x inbound okay, outbound "400 Bad Request"

Have you ever used Wireshark? You can load the entire capture in Wireshark and view the call ladder. That should definitively show which side sent the 400 Bad Request. You can create a Service Group which contains only the SIP Proxy and assign that Service Group in the Dial Plan. This will stop the ...

Re: 6x inbound okay, outbound "400 Bad Request"

Excellent work!!!! Remembering what you changed and when while troubleshooting then reverting is difficult to do! I don't know what the "+++" means in the debug logs. There is a LOT in there that isn't published anywhere. I've hounded Allworx support in the past to get explanations for deb...

Re: 6x inbound okay, outbound "400 Bad Request"

It seems the 'unrelated issue' is related. Was the Allworx ever rebooted during this period of several months? You could try to restore a backup. The date of the backup may matter in relation to any other changes that were made but if it works then maybe some change was made to the Allworx configura...

Re: Seize CO line

Thanks. Unfortunately, the door phone done not include a dialer nor can it be configured to connect to an FXS port. Another issue that I cannot figure out is how to have Reach show that the call is coming from the door phone since the door phone has no caller ID. It just shows as "Unknown"...

Re: 9212 handset revert firmware

1) I don't know if they still have it available but there was a server hosted by Allworx exactly for this purpose. One needed to call their technical support to get the current IP address (I think it occasionally changed). It would load v0.0.0.0 to the handset. Thus when registering to any productio...

Re: Voicemail for a single extension not working

What server model and firmware version is this? A voice mail box is not tied to an extension. It is a USER function. One thing you could do is record a greeting for this user to be sure you're reaching THAT mailbox when leaving a message. Without seeing anything else, the only thing I can think of t...

The most popular and useful program for this is Wireshark.

Re: Paging

I don't think I've ever done this but, this post is actually ON-TOPIC and should be moved to the appropriate board. Anyway, I'm not sure I understand your question. Analog paging controllers usually support two modes. FXS and FXO. The either act as an analog station and are therefore rung by the PBX...

Re: General Rant on Allworx software

I am so glad I'm not servicing allworx anymore. I feel sorry for y'all. BTW I kept our own "list of approved GA software" and never upgraded a customer site unless I used the software internally on our own system for a few months. When Allworx sent John Fr*sch*ll* to do some in-house trai...
