Re: Adding an additional phone
Do you have access to the Administration Guide? Reviewing that document would probably be a good start. Your Allworx Partner should be able to get for you. Or PM me and I'll send it to you. I usually just program the Boot Server direct on the phone and it gets added to the Handsets automatically. Ch...

Re: Remote phone in another country
What if you try setting up a Generic SIP Handset and use a softphone like X-Lite on a computer overseas to see if they can connect from the same network. Might be easier to trouble-shoot with network tools on the computer rather than the Allworx phone. You mentioned phone was hooked up direct to a h...

Re: Remote phone in another country
It's not the Global SIP Connection value. This is the maximum number of simultaneous VoIP calls to allow across all internet connections. Do you have a static IP setup that they are connecting to, or a domain name? If domain, can they resolve the address to the correct IP from a computer on that ISP...

Re: Internal MOH
I was getting complaints of the MOH file I had uploaded being too loud. Exported from Allworx and grabbed the snd file from FTP. Couldn't open the file in Audacity - had to Import Raw Data: In Audacity, File > Import > RAW Data... Adjust the Encoding and Sample Rate as per below Encoding: U-Law Byte...

Re: Active Call stuck on system
Didn't get around to rebooting the server last night, but that stuck call is now cleared.
Maybe there is a 24 hour call duration limit or something...

Active Call stuck on system
Weird issue - and not really an issue at all. One set called another yesterday afternoon at 4:00 PM and had a brief conversation. Call still shows as Active in Call Assistant and in the Live Calls admin section. It doesn't show up on either phone. I've rebooting both phones but the call is still the...

Auto Notification of Specific SIP Line Usage
Here is my scenario which was setup to optimize usage costs: - SIP Trunk with 6 channels from Provider A used for incoming calls - SIP Truck with 5 channels from Provider B used for outgoing calls I would like to be notified or at least be able to see in the Logs somewhere if either of the following...

Re: Polycom IP 5000 help!
Here are the general steps. If you need any more specifics with anything let me know as I haven't gone into exact details. I am running an Allworx 48x v7.5.3.2. The Polycom SoundStation IP 5000 is running the latest software v4.1.0.84959. Setup Generic SIP Handset for the IP 5000. Access the IP 5000...

Re: Polycom IP 5000 help!
I had one hooked up to a 6x system but have upgraded to a 48x and haven't configured it again. Will take a look this coming week and let you know my steps.
You'll obviously need to create a Generic SIP Handset on the Allworx server.
