Re: Paging not working on remote phone
Hi Mike - Getting remote paging to work has been a struggle for me for years as well. It hasn't been a "must have" feature for us thank goodness, but it's now starting to get to that point. One workaround solution would be to run the phones over a VPN tunnel so they'd behave like local pho...

Re: Allworx phone - provisioning VLAN for LAN and COMPUTER port
I have been tossing around doing something similar at our office with about 30 stations. Were you ever able to figure out a solution?

Re: Working Voip Providers
After 6+ years of using the providers I mentioned above, I would rank Sipvine (sipvine.com) the best in terms of quality, value, support and reliability.

You can always just call your cell with your deskphone and then put it on hold.

Re: Working Voip Providers
Confirmed working:
Voicepulse - Works great
CallCentric - Works great
Vestalink - Works great
SipVine - Works great
Confirmed "issues" presently:
VOIPo - Disconnects parked calls when they are incoming calls. Outgoing calls that you park seem to work fine. VERY odd.

Re: Dozens of Allworx systems froze last night
Same thing happened to our 6x in Stealth Mode on April 8th sometime between 1:30-2:30AM CST. I had to go into the office and power cycle the system as I was unable to get into it remotely or through our terminal server on the office LAN. My first power cycle did not bring it back up, but a second on...

FYI - Security vulnerability with Allworx
http://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/18j5ry/allworx_voip_phone_system_vulnerability/ I recently had the same thing happen on a system as the author reports in this link. Essentially, if a sip hacker can access the web port (80) of an Allworx phone, they are able to retrieve the phone's sip regi...
