is supposed to accomplish? Is it to warn someone trying to transfer a call to an extension in use, that it is in use? Where does it show this information?

depending on which release you are running..........there is a way with 7.5

I think that you can change the name that appears on the phone, but you will not be able to change the login name shown. To change that, you would have to delete & create a new user

I think that I have found the answer to this problem.........seems this feature is only available in a later software version

the problem was that the install only had 5 appearances set up as speed dial. Once I went into the configuration menu & added it for this #, everything was fine

found the problem.........the extension had never recorded the name of the employee.
once I did that & rebooted, it appeared in the dial by name selection

I have an extension that does not appear in the automated dial by name selection, even though it is marked as being included. Any suggestions?

I would like to change the way the present function.......calls message center to display the message list.
