Inbound Routing with SIP
I'm having a problem where I can't get my DID to work right. Here's how inbound calls should be routed: Inbound call on any number other than assigned DID goes to a 'reception' extension with destinations for 2 extensions. If no answer go to auto attendant. Inbound call to an assigned DID number goe...

Re: Caller ID Help
Don't know that you can do that. You can do Caller ID based routing of calls, but I've never seen where you can display caller info based on the ID.

Cell Phone Follow Me and Passing Caller ID
I'm trying to figure out a way to ring my cell at the same time a call comes to my extension, or for a call to automatically transfer to my cell when my presence is Out of Office. Along with this I would like the caller ID on the cell to show the calling party, not the office number. I currently hav...

Re: Inbound call moves from port to port - SOLVED
Problem turned out to be the ring interval on the provider side for the hunt group. Rings was set too low causing the call to jump to the next available incoming line.

Re: Record Uptime! 497 days!
That is indeed something to be proud of considering mine won't work right for more than a month on average without a reboot.

Re: New to Allworx, Questions
To tell you the truth, the best thing you could do is talk the powers that be into letting you toss that Allworx out the freaking window and get a real phone system. I have and always will believe Allworx is more suited to a deli than a business that needs a reliable phone system.

Re: New to Allworx, Questions
BTW, to keep the phones on the correct LAN or VLAN as it were you would either have to statically assign the IP for each phone or put a DHCP server on the same VLAN.

Re: New to Allworx, Questions
What I did with pretty good success is just put all the phones on their own switch with a connection between the switches. The Allworx is connected to the switch the phones are on. I considered a VLAN or even a separate LAN and doing the necessary routing to allow the TAPI drivers to work, but using...

Inbound call moves from port to port
This is something very odd that just started happening. Our receptionist has multiple line appearances on her phone. When a call comes in the call will appear on the first line. She picks up the call and hears dial tone. At the same time the second line will show an incoming call. She picks that up ...
