for some reason, I have 1 9212L phone that constantly shows "registration error"
After I reboot the phone once or twice it is back to normal..........any ideas

Try one at time to see if it corrects. Never change more then 1 variable when trouble shooting if you want to know what "fix" solved the problem.
1) Factory reset.
2) Swap it with a phone that does not have registration errors. Move only the phone. Keep the same patch cords
that were on the behaving phone.
3) change patch cords at phone side and network side.
4) ip confict ?
Is it getting power from POE or transformer?
