Today's fun:
Got a Polycom Soundstation IP 7000 that was using a very old firmware version; we were using this with our Allworx 6x (software 8.4.5.4) and it was difficult to work with for various reasons. Cleared & factory reset the Polycom phone and it's now running SIP application 4.0.14.0987.
When we try to register it as a generic SIP extension on the Allworx (it put it as 5116, and I've checked the User ID and password a bunch of times), the Polycom phone's log shows:
0501140901|cfg |4|03|Web||ParamParser|Parameter identifier is out of range: "14791"(14791)
0501140901|cfg |4|03|Web||ParamParser|Parameter identifier is out of range: "14791"(14791)
0501140916|sip |4|03|Registration failed User: 5116, Error Code:480 Temporarily not available
After this, the Allworx box goes completely unstable! It doesn't show any errors in the System Events, but it stops letting the 9212L phones on the LAN register (they get "Registration Error" and reboot), and outgoing and incoming calls start to fail. Only fix seems to be to power-cycle the Allworx box.
Any thoughts?
