We are taking a 6x out of service. What is the best way to purge the configuration/setup from the (1) phone system and (2) each of the handsets?
The goal is to clear everything to be able to send equipment to recycling or for use by other people if they happen to need them.

Boot the 6x into Safe Mode and format the CompactFlash card. On the handsets, reset to default settings.
