Re: Port 8080 and Sip Registration?
When you click Register Now on the SIP Proxy, what is the expiration time listed as? I had problems with voip.ms coming up as 60 minutes, but then dropping well before that. Other SIP providers I have used get setup with 5 minutes or less. Never experimented with 8080 - it was always closed. What do...

Re: Allworx Reach
Using Reach v1.0.3.6 on iPhone 5 v6.1.3 with 48x v7.5.3.2 So far so good. I was hesitant in how the voice quality would be over a cellular connection, but have been impressed so far. I have had conversations without quality problems in the following scenarios: - WiFi on same LAN as 48x - WiFi at rem...

Re: Allworx Reach
Sometimes it's a pain having managed firewalls with no visibility to actual settings... Reach worked on the LAN without a problem. Asked the network group to send me the list of ports that were opened so I could trouble-shoot with Allworx. TCP 5060 wasn't on the list - which I had already asked them...

Allworx Reach
Update our 48x to v7.5.3.2 Installed Reach on iPhone 5 v6.1.3 Remotely from home on WiFi, I can connect without a problem if I am not registering a Handset. VM access and Presence changing works. No more iAllworx required I guess. If I setup a handset (have tried both ways - reserving and making eli...

Re: VOIP Outgoing priority
Settings for this would be under Phone System - Dial Plan.
- Create a new Service Group (call it Outgoing Trunk Group perhaps).
- Add the SIP Proxies you want in the order you want.
- Setup your External Dialing Rules to use this Group.

Re: Working Voip Providers
Not using voip.ms anymore - not stable at all for me with the 60 minutes registration. Have setup SIP Trunking account with Primus Canada and it is working so far. 1 minute registration refresh, multiple data centers. Only problem is placing outgoing calls and passing a Caller ID that isn't one of t...

Re: Got proxied BLF packet from 192.168.xx.xx
You should also be able to setup a domain name for your phone system and put that into the phone config rather than the internal or external IP. If there is an internal DNS server have that domain point to the internal IP, and setup external IP on public DNS servers. Would make it easy for a user to...
